Its an ok office/everyday use fragrance nothing special.

Vadekoya

Smells like McDonalds sprite

Mitch_Rush

This is just a personal no for me. Made me wanna throw up and I’m not sure why

Robert Peck1

Good Basic Fragrance, Fresh, Woody, Minty, and floral. Good for spring and Fall.

Jbreezo823

Good barber shop scent pleasant not bad for 40 bucks for a 100ml and it’s got decent longevity too

SweetPeaPea

I blind bought this at Ross and tested it on a strip when I got home. Mainly smelled the sweetness. I didn't really give it a chance until I smelled it on a friend of mine. He smelled so clean and polished, I was taken aback. When I asked him what he was wearing, he told me it was this. I then started wearing my bottle to work and it was my office fragrance through this past winter. Signature scent worthy and very versatile, but there are of course better options for high heat. Goes to show... always test fragrances on skin, and in various weather conditions!!!

Oberon Bungle

An all time classic and one of my absolute favourites ever. It’s so cheap that it’s a complete no-brainer. Warm, elegant, refined and just a lovely, inviting aroma.

Armani34

nrich104

Smells like Lalique Pour Homme. It's a good safe scent for any man 30+. Since it's cheap I'll be keeping this one in the center console of my car in case I ever forget to put something on or I just need to spruce up.

GOOD & SAFE MANLY CHOICE

Burberry for Men is a very masculine EDT. No Burberry perfume has ever achieved this class again. A real insider tip that creates the bridge between modern Burberry sweetener and classic men's EdC in a friendly and, above all, stylish way.
It is indeed a very classy, trustworthy and inexpensive man's scent! You may use it almost all along the year both during the day or night. It has a perfectly balanced blending, more Urbane Latin than typically British. Nevertheless, the scent would certainly suit James Bond perfectly.
It opens fresh and a bit green. It dries down woody with a very smooth development and an above-average performance.
If you have any doubts on what to apply today... this fragrance is always a good and safe choice. It's an excelent Office fragrance.
It's a "Call Me Sir" type of cologne.
My rates for Burberry Man:
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Scent opening: 8.0 (An absolutely masculine lavender, classic bergamot, some mint and spice)
Scent Base and Dry Down: 8.0 (The base becomes sweeter with vanilla, tonka beans and cedar)
Longevity: 8.0 (Ok with a 7-8 hours span, with 3 sprays)
Sillage: 7.0 (About 4 feet with one-hour projection. It should be better)
Uniqueness: 8.0 (Reasonably unique with some faint family ties with Hedrrera For Men and Chanel Platinum)
Wearability: 8.5 (Almost an all-weather fragrance. Just avoid very hot summer days.)
Versatility: 8.5 (It is more a day scent than a night elixir: It fits all common day activities)
Compliments: 8.0 (It's not a praise bomb but it is reasonably safe to be considered a general pleaser)
Quality: 8.0 (Nothing to complain about)
Presentation: 7.0 (Common simple flask and cap)
Price: 9.0 (It has become really cheap in recent times at €25 the 50ml bottle. Take advantage of it)
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Overall rating: 8,00/10.00

My opinion: If you are looking for a versatile elegant & manly fougére, you found it. If you have not tried it yet, it will be a nice discovery and almost on a par with Platinum Egoiste or Lalique White... So far it has been unfairly overshadowed by many inferior Burberry "melanges".
It's inexpensive, with above-average quality. I do recommend it, and it's safe enough for a blind buy.

I had this back in the 2000s and recently bought my self a bottle and in my opinion it's still smells good today as it did back then, performance it's great, I sprayed it on my hand about 1pm and could still smell it on my hand at around 9pm, if you want a great smelling old school scent, then this is the one, I cant fault it, I would say it's more for men in there 30s/40s I cant see the younger generation going for something like this

StuddedLeather

A classic, clean, old school, barbershop style fragrance. Refreshing, light. Where you might expect others like this to lean metallic or sharply herbal, it instead leans the slightest bit creamy.
Doesn't reinvent the wheel but will bring a smile to your face.

A side note.... partially reminds me more of how Calvin Klein Eternity for men used to smell 20 years ago than the current formulation of that fragrance does. Funny how that works.

nolenteeter

I like it. Good for cold days imo. Girlfriend likes it on me.

Thesmithsera

This is not a younger man's scent and that's OK. This is a scent for that season where you're leaving behind the play things and getting a better grip on the wheel.

I love the oakmoss, the green spiciness, musk and citrus. It really is a nice departure from all the influencers re-arranged top ten.

Sartre1963

Mature, clean, gentlemanly. An excellent office scent for all season use. I get citrus, jasmine, and geranium. Since it is not expensive, I apply twice during the workday. I find it similar to D & G Pour Homme. On my second bottle.

Mountain_Man

This is such a classic and timeless scent. It’s elegant, fresh, woody, and a bit spicy. It’s masculine and unique. I’ve actually never smelled anything quite like it.

frafilipo

Was my favorite. I really like mint in this one. But I got bored with it, it's still nice and comfortable fragrance but it's time to move on.
edit: I still reach for this one, still one of my favourite. I'm kind of glad it's not so popular.

OhMattGreen

This is still such a hit! It reminds me of 90’s R&B, skin high fades, and cassette decks lol

tomhu

For the price, this fragrance is amazing, even better in autumn it has really inoffensive notes, even though the top note is mint I don't smell it much which is good as I don't personally like mint in my fragrances

hellogoddag

Fully agree with @CoachSignature88 - Burberry Men evokes the scent of a freshly pressed magazine. With colorful joyful appealing pictures. It takes me back being a child in the 90´s when the christmas catalogue landed - and the exciting feeling of choosing which of Spider Mans enemies went on the wish list

Sparkleball22

Refined, peaceful, instant Buddha smile. This is so beautiful. I fell in love with a sample mistakenly sent and it was meant to be. Gentle and present, like an aromatic golden hug!
It’s a bedtime or comfort scent for me but really seems like an all-occasions, anyone kind of scent.
I could swear there was a hint of apple or pear somewhere but it doesn’t say so in the notes.
I can’t say what the magic is but I know it’s there.

J_TheWombKilla

Jeans, no belt. Loafers, no socks. Shirt, no tie.
A capable man that doesn't wear fragrance to be noticed.

Captain Monroe Kelly from Congo wears this.

Burberry for Men, also known as Burberry Classic (red box) is a sweet, creamy woody scent with great longevity and sillage. This only needs a couple of sprays to be noticeable by those around you. I don’t know how this scent has fared with reformulation, as my bottle is over 10 years old. I regret only buying one 30ml before it was reformulated. When I tested on the back of my hand, I get a quality, masculine, barbershoppy fougere that lasts all day. There is a distinct smooth, creamy quality to the woodiness that exudes class and sophistication. I feel this is a great choice for the office or a night out, but it is not a casual scent. It begs to be dressed up.

This is an excellent choice year round, except for spring or summer days above 20 Celsius. In the heat this radiates a bit too much and turns a little musky. There is a natural musky woody base, that plays with amber and vanilla upon dry down. This is not a noticeably sweet scent as focuses more on dusty woods and lavender. This is a recognizable scent that projects about 6+ feet from you, and leaves a trail of sillage that will be remembered. I continually get whiffs of it throughout the day, without having to sniff the scent directly. This is a quality built scent. I appreciate its longevity on my skin as it usually eats fragrance. Mine may be a vintage formulation with more oakmoss, but it projects and performs wonderfully. From what I’ve read below, it does not seem as though it is much weaker with reformulation. There have clearly been several restrictions made by the IFRA since 1995, but I believe the scent is mostly intact. This is a classic woody scent that does not smell as if it were created in 1995. It has a modern feel, but is best suited to men 30 and up in my opinion and experience. This is a compliment getter for the confident, well dressed man. This scent profile should be in every man’s arsenal. It projects a clean, confident, woody, lavender based fougere that lasts nearly until your next shower.

A strong application would be two sprays to the top of your chest/lower throat, and one behind each ear. This gives you a potent scent bubble that shouldn’t choke out others, but beware, this fragrance is rather strong. This is not for every occasion, but could easily be an office worker’s (or any dress shirt employee, like a teacher’s) signature scent, as it is a masculine and inviting fragrance. There is a warmth to this fragrance that comes from the amber and vanilla in the dry down that makes it great for colder days. It has the strength to cut through cold air and leave a trail outside too.

Overall I say this is a classic for a reason, and has stayed in production since 1995 as a staple to men’s fragrance. It is also inexpensive, as 100ml can be found currently for $50 Canadian and under with tax for the current formulation, which I have not smelled, but would like to add to my collection. This certainly smells like a more expensive fragrance. There is a smooth creaminess that is worth waiting for the dry down to enjoy, but you will enjoy every stage of this fragrance journey. I currently have about half of my vintage 30ml and will treasure it along with my other classics.

Scent: 10/10
Longevity: 9/10
Projection: 9/10
Bottle Art: 8/10
Value: 9/10
Overall: 9/10 A true fragrance classic.

Having worn this several times, I would place Burberry Men in the 'gourmand' category moreso than 'woody'

On my skin, thyme becomes the strongest contributor by far

Gourmand scents confuse me because personally I don't understand the allure of smelling edible

While I still enjoy this cologne, Burberry Men pushes the gourmand boundary right to the edge for me; a single sprig of thyme more and it would topple over the cliff

11/02/23

First Pass - I don't like any of Burberry's other fragrances and wasn't expecting anything, but this swept me off my feet

As someone who likes sweet, woody fragrances, this was a delight. Woods. Hay. A little spice. Faintly reminiscent of Stetson, but more refined and balanced

1 Hour Later - All of the opening scents are still there, but the wood has grown to the front. Cedar for sure, some wisps of fir

What a treat. I never thought I would find a fragrance I liked as much as Ralph Lauren Romance, but this is quite good

***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

French version amazing, Spanish version bad.

I've had this for a few years now. The mint note is intact and still rules the roost. The fragrance in all is so restrained--not weak, necessarily, but refined--that I tend to spray it onto my clothes as well as walking through a mist of it. (I don't usually spray directly onto my skin, as I don't like to "bruise" my perfumes, but this one would probably not be excessive if sprayed directly, in moderation.) On clothes, the fragrance predictably hangs around a good deal longer and the mint is perhaps further accentuated (as a kind of fresh ambience). This therefore remains a "love" for me; I don't need it to be a huge attention grabber. Burberry are often good for James Bond sophistication over getting all up in the grill (mixed grill with fried nostrils) of everyone in the same room as the wearer.

Demus Anum

Very gentle. Very Polite. Light. Airy. Transparent. Fresh. Office, Outdoor. Versatile. 8/10

Dylp7707

Really disliked this when I got it–for like $20 at Burlington, as it happens. The thyme seemed to overwhelm, and in a way that reminded me too much of a spice cabinet's dried herbs rather than something I'd like to smell on myself. Also, an inescapable scent association: I am almost certain at some point in elementary school I had a male teacher that wore this, so I thought it smelled "old."

I've come around. I still don't get vanilla or mint; herbal notes of thyme, lavender, and geranium predominate to my nose, as well as maybe the cedar. And it's still not an everyday for me, but it's a fragrance that I've indeed received compliments on, and now it seems to fit me a bit better as I approach thirty. Spring, fall, winter... It goes well with a sweater. A good scent for, say, dinner with the family or a Sunday morning at church, and a solid office/meeting fragrance too.

It's mature, which honestly made it just perfect for those thirty-something teachers I had in school. In some ways the same "genre" for me as Terre d'Hermes.

sniffer 65

Platinum Egoiste clone? No. Beautiful combination of maturity and playfulness, formal and casual, complexity but simplicity? Yes.

This is an ensemble work, with all elements playing a part. Starts with a juicy citrus accord, then the lavender and jasmine aromatics join the fun at around the 15 minutes mark. At 30 - 45 minutes, the most unique aspect comes forward, i.e. the combination of the thyme, mint and geranium. You start to think that two transitions are all that this has when a bit of barbershop accord shows up (this and the lavender is probably where the Platinum Egoiste comparisons come in). But the barbershop doesn't take over, it just joins the aromatics and the mint/thyme, and all of them play together on a field of amber and musk, with some sweetness and smoothness from the vanilla.

So, lots going on, but it doesn't do it in a pretentious French manner, because this never gets fussy. The warm base makes this a very comforting scent, the barbershop elements provide the masculinity, the thyme/mint accord the green element and the aromatics keep it all light. Just a super versatile and completely enjoyable scent. I got this in a blind swap, and feel very lucky to have done so.

Michel Silencieux

A very nice minty, woody opening. The citrus is mild and smooth and this fragrance develops a powdery and pleasant floral note. The final dry down is dominated by a smooth amber note. I often struggle with amber based fragrances on my skin, but this one maintains a beautiful smoothness from start to finish. Vanilla and amber create a slight sweetness in this fragrance, but it’s not overpowering.

A high quality fragrance, better for cooler days and good for the office. I think this is better for guys 30 plus years. I blind bought this based on the notes and the reviews and don’t regret it. It’s a very pleasant fragrance and will be appreciated by others around you.

ashroloie

Smells like a bar of fine cream soap.

It would get you a compliment during the day. I can't picture anyone over 35 not liking this though it would definitely get mixed reactions to the younger generation.

Its a bit linear. What you smell at the start is all you get. I loved it for a while but found myself getting bored with it rather quickly. You'll appreciate it more if you use it now and then instead of everyday.

JmThms

Nice creamy, sweet 90's scent. The comparisons to Chanel Platinum Egoiste and CK Eternity for Men go to far imo. Burberry is not nearly as intrusively metallic smelling as either of those scent profiles. Maybe if you take Platinum Egoiste and temper it by adding Chanel Allure Homme to it you would approximate Burberry for Men. In fact the "metallic" accord in Burberry to me smells more like sweet apple sauce!

cats_eye

This always reminds me of apples and woods. Very nice. One Million Lucky is an updated version.

hellogoddag

I am surprised to see so many finding it similar to Chanel Platinum Egoiste.
Alright, the style is quite similar - fresh herbal 90´s masculine scent.
But the scent itself - completely different.
Burberry Men has some kind of wooden / fruity / tobacco-ish warm sweetness while Platinum Egoiste is cold as a ghost (in a great way).
Both are lovely, but Burberry Men is less iconic.
If you are looking for a fragrance similar to Burberry Men, check Vespa for Him. It´s much closer.

Sweetboy05

I tried to like it, but I couldn't. There was something about this that just didn't sit well with me, so I gave it to my dad. I won't complain about the price though. It was pretty cheap.

awinder

Platinum Egoiste's younger brother. VERY good for the price. Dont sleep on this.

Tony Shades

Crisp creamy woody floral aromatic fragrance with a very cozy and comfy modern classy scent. It's perfect for spring and summer if you're sick of blue aquatic or boring citrus fragrances.
PS. In my opinion, this one would also be a cheaper woodier alternative to Chanel's Platinum Egoiste, if you like that one.

Baimwrongg

Had this bottle back in high school in 2012 as a present from my mom, now working and able to buy it again, it brings back so many memories,

The smell is amazing, it last pretty long on skin and on a shirt or sweater its all day easy. Planning on making it my signature scent, classy smell and a timeless piece 10/10 for me

Salute1

I agree that it is similar to Egoiste Platinum, but with no metallic aspect and much quieter. This is a great fragrance to wear to church or the office, anywhere you want to smell unobtrusive, conservative, and clean. It's herbal, lightly floral, and woody, all blended very well. It will only be smelled by you and whomever is very close to you, and then only for a few good hours. Not bad for the money, but don't expect fireworks.

ex0r

in brief: it's an "egoiste platinum" for the poor.
a good herbal scent for the grim days.
a bit more linear, than it's expensive counterpart, and has no "honey" type of a base accord.
definitely, a "bang for the buck" for the fans of fougère scents.

CoachSignature88

This is one of my signature scents for good reason. The scent is timeless. It reminds of the smell of a freshly printed magazine. Or the smell you get right after unwrapping plastic off a new book. It’s wonderful and timeless. It smells very modern and new to me still to this day. Like the most luxurious soap you’ve ever smelt without being overly soapy or powdery. It’s perfect imo. 10/10. Burberry does a very good job I also love touch.

MissLucky10

Blind buy..I was at Nordstrom rack and I didn't even have my phone to check the notes.. most men's frags give me a headache. I loathe anything aquatic or with anything powdery.. I went with the logic that Burberry (brit) was my first designer fragrance so a classic Burberry for men should be a solid choice. I'm so glad I did.. it's a lovely bergamot lavender scent..I also pick up some jasmine. On the dry down I get some woodiness. It's a light scent, great for spring, summer. I think it's probably an easy blind gift since it's so inoffensive.

Scotty123

Citrus mint, floral, with just a nice touch of woodiness. Very clean and crisp with a beautiful soapiness. The more sophisticated brother of Mr Burberry Indigo. Doesn’t smell outdated at all for the release year but then again neither is ADG. 95 was a good year for fresh fragrances. This scent while I don’t believe in a certain place or time to wear a fragrance is versatile for all season especially for Spring and summer.

Blankman

Sophisticated. Fresh. Casual. Masterpiece.

polaroidcaesar

Cool, crisp, elegant masculinity in a bottle.

This scent from my birth year (1995, 28 years ago) has hardly aged a day. My vintage 1997 bottle (which reads Burberry's of London on the label) is bright, breezy, sharp, juicy, and fresh, with an underlying sweetness and creaminess which makes this simply one of my absolute favorite wears in my collection. Is it the most original scent? No. If you're familiar with 90s fragrances, you will detect that classic DNA in the oversoul of Burberry Men. This is essentially an aromatic fougere with an oriental twist. I think it'd be best described as a mix of Platinum Egoiste and Allure Homme (the OG, not Eau Extreme) - it's got that sharp, metallic, aromatic freshness of Platinum Egoiste and the smooth, creamy, succulence of Allure Homme. This is the definition of effortlessness. You can weaar this any time, anywhere if you want to smell clean, classy, and fresh. It might not garner you the most compliments in the world, but everyone will agree that you smell good. The only strike against it in my mind is the performance. Even a vintage bottle like the one I have isn't the longest lasting scent, netting me about 4 or 5 hours of longevity and light projection. But that's alright with me - there's so much pleasure in reapplication.

Overall, this is one of my favorite 90s fragrances. It is just so damn good. Scoop up a vintage bottle on Ebay while the going's still cheap.

SenselessReviews

"Burberry Men" sprawls you out on the floor like a drunken Jerry Seinfeld spouting gibberish about why no recreational drugs come in suppository form. I don't find it very wearable, but I would certainly use it as aromatherapy to chill out and listen to some spoken-word Shatner.

"Burberry Men" is so calming that it is like time slowing down. You are laying on a grassy hill in early fall while the wind tussles your hair. Tree-covered hills surround you, your to-do list is empty, and Shaquille O'Neal is dry-humping your leg. Ahhhhh!

2023 marks the 28th anniversary of "Burberry Men." That's 28 years of making our eyes water, our knees wobble, and our nostrils tighten up like a cold-water ballsack. I love how they've left the bottle design alone, right down to the unusual size options of 30, 50 or 7,852 ml (the latter known as "The Spadey" since it is the size of David Spade).

Imagine "Schwarzenegger: The Fragrance!" without the petunias and you have "Burberry Men." It sent Jeremy Fragrance into a twirl-clapping loop that lasted most of the Bush presidency. As the commercials used to say, chill or be chilled!

eylulcnar

My boyfriend's scent. Not sure if my opinion is biased, but every time I get a whiff of it, it intoxicates me. I can't exactly the notes. The woodiness allows the scent to give a warm welcome, yet it follows with a freshness that comes from jasmine. It is suprising that a floral scent could complement a men's perfume so well. It is my all-time favourite perfume. And every time I smell it, it smells nostalgic, like home. Maybe because in my mind I interconnect this scent with my lover, it has a dear place in my heart.

Fragrantguy

The best way to describe this is, sunshine in a bottle. Burberry for men is bright, fresh, sweet, and masculine. A kind, casual, gentlemanly cologne. It smells like something you would wear for the holidays with your family or even dinner every night with family. It’s better suited for the day time though. I don’t really get a 90’s vibe from this, it feels timeless, a scent for every man at any age. Better for spring and fall, I don’t think it would work with extreme temperatures. All in all, Burberry for men is a handsome, gentlemanly, happy scent.

Good scent but not my favorite scent..

Solid classic cheapie. Liked it since 1995.

It smells like spicy thyme. Lots of thyme.

Fresh, lightly sweet, spicy, thyme.

Very good, even modern versions.

It's a fresh and energetic fragrance, Elegant, Classy and Woody, It smells so good and very pleasant, It reminds me of Mochino Uomo but Burberry launched in 1995 before Mochino. It opens up with like fresh citrusy , herbal and floral notes in the background then dry down is musky woody. This is perfect for the spring and fall. I have new reformulation and Longevity is very good. I really enjoy it and I love Burberry for Men EDT. Highly Recommended.
Two Thumbs Up.

Love this scent, only problem with it is that it doesn't last too long.
- Beautiful woody thyme/cedar/lavender smell with a hint of mint
- Classy but not too classy
- Laid back and manly

Easiest way to explain this one; if you've smelt Moschiono Uomo or Davidoff Adventure, it's basically that, but better performance than both (on my skin, anyway)

pronose

A true woody aromatic masterpiece👌 so well blended & well composed by Michel Almairac🏆 even though has been reformulated still smells great❤️ one of the best by Burberry!

ry_ta

I don't quite know why I like this one, but I do. The thyme in the opening and the cedar work really well with the rest of the notes.

This is definitely a fall fragrance, and something more for the day than the night. Great for office use. I recommend 5-6 sprays and it'll last a good 6 hours. Cedarwood, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, and musk all are in the dry down, meaning it can be layered later in the day (wait 6 hours).

Really it could be worn anytime from fall to spring, during the day or night, but ideally it is a fall scent. Great value at its price point. It pulls compliments, and because it's a relatively little used fragrance these days, it gets people's attention.

eriksimon

This one seems to be having a bit of a renaissance. I’m curious to know what prompted it, but I’m here because I’m having renewed enjoyment of it too. We’re all on the same wave length I guess.

I reviewed it maybe two years ago and at the time, it seemed attention was few and far between.

I can attest to the fact that it’s not at all dated. It’s light, classically herbaceous, and slightly sweet in a delicate, classy fruit sort of way. It came out around the same time as Curve (no resemblance) so it’s from a time when fragrances were getting pleasant, mellow, and void of anything divisive (and unlike Curve, this wasn’t worn by the masses, myself included, so the DNA is still fresh).

Performance is nothing exciting. Overall very pleasant though.

malcolmduffin

Absolutely adore this fragrance. Boozy, honeyed and a beautiful ginger note. It's complex and sophisticated and very grown up. Reminds me of one of my all-time favourite cocktails - a 'Whisky Mac'. If you've ever rolled that concoction around your palette or smelt Crabbies Green Ginger Wine you will love this.

CaptainCanuck

Blind bought this and really ended up liking it...I love it's elegance, and I really enjoy the opening and the mid point of this fragrance. Wore it last night and got two great compliments from women who hugged me and told me, "you smell great." Late to the party for this one, and really enjoying it. Even if it's old school (not in a bad way) it's so much less sweet then a lot of newer stuff, and thats a major plus in my book.

Pretty hard to beat at the price point. An excellent cheap option. Masculine, spicy, fresh, versatile. Very aromatic and I also pick up a very subtle leather/incense smoky type vibe somewhere in the background.

Highly recommend for a great masculine scent that wont cost you much.

Ajaysinghchauhan

Lovely summer scent that's spicy, mature, airy, handsome, charming and sharp/fizzy. It's meant for the man's man. A departure from today's stereotypical men's scent. Very strong/punchy and comforting. I wore this for 3 days straight on a recent work trip to Ottawa. I usually like to bathe in perfume in the summers and bathe I did. My Uber driver complimented me. While men believe that a woman has to compliment their perfume to validate but if a man has appreciated your perfume then it means you smell good. All in all, this is a great value for money and like all of Burberry's offerings this one is yet another stunner. Get it !!!

Had it for a year now. Got it as birthday gift. Nice scent not too sweet.

This is the type of scent that could easily be the only cologne a certain type of man could ever need or want. It is classic and manly without being over the top powerhouse like many 80s colognes. It is good year round in almost any setting except perhaps not ideal in the hottest weather. It is not for kids but any man aged late 20s and up who has a classic sense of style would be well served by this. Great value as well

Joe_Chip

Trustworthy, a staple, never lets down, a good friend, a pleasant daily companion. Mint & thyme are prominent. Moderate longevity, super safe for office. Went through a 50ml bottle in record time. Affordable price makes it a must try.(i don't find any similarities with Riflesso which is i didn't enjoy as much). Will buy it again.

jbuzzz

I'm surprised it took me so long to get this one. It's really true that the OG of a fragrance brand is usually worth checking out and this one is really one of those examples. It is the type of fragrance that is not trendy, but instead has a timeless type of vibe to it. It's very masculine in my opinion, but not stereotypically so (as in old school harsh and a punch in the face type). It has a spiciness to it while also having kind of a smooth, somewhat calming, and very unique quality to it. I would also say it fits into the soapy category to some extent. It's really well balanced. I think anyone past the teen years could pull it off, but would generally say it's a more mature fragrance. My only criticism is that it's slightly less than moderate performance from what I can tell.

4xxx4

Version made in france is complettely different than made in germany version.... French version is softer and more gentle, on the other hand, german version is sharper and stronger...anyway i think you can t get your hand in french version anymore .

Criglett Clussnum

This is really nice. It's fresh and it's citrusy. This is an easy staple for me. A fragrance I would easily replace if I ran out. This is an easy men's fragrance for any occasion. It's pleasant with a good masculine edge. Nice Burberry quality.

ONE-CLASSIC-MAN

Although I have a lot online blind buys two of my criteria are: I want to like the smell of the perfume and it must be only for men! If the performance is also good then it would be perfect!
Burberry Men is a 100% masculine fragrance! The combination of mint, citrus, lavender, woods is very nice and balanced! Very pleasant, thankfully not too sweet and one more reason which I like it is despite it is a classic 1990's there is also a reminder of 1970's freshness ! Very nice !

murdock-byrne

i wear this just about every day to work and get compliments from coworkers all the time :) it's a classy masculine fragrance that i'll throw on if i'm in a rush. it really goes with anything. a classic for a reason

andrw

The first fragrance I ever bought with my own money back in 2006. I sold that bottle many moons ago but I recently repurchased after hearing rumors of discontinuation. I wanted to forever own a bottle of my first fragrance.

Its minty, bright lavender opening is invigorating and the creamy cedar and sandalwood dry-down is very calming. It reminds me of better, carefree days. Careful on the trigger as the first 30 minutes are strong and you can expect this to be detectable for 4 to 5 hours on a good day. I’m so happy to own this again as it will forever remind me of the summer of 06.

bierhaus

Smells like a weaker/softer D&G Pour Homme to me.

Aus11n

Solid and surprisingly not outdated yet

Melvinstone

I smell mint and honey. Pretty classy.

FragCon

Very inoffensive pleasant smell, wonderful floral notes and then drys down into a nice skin scent, perfect for the office or a daily driver. Think the SpongeBob Ol' Reliable meme. Could be a signature scent cool weather scent.

Christian77

Timelessly crisp and chic. This seductive beauty makes a statement without declaring itself. To my nose at least, it bears a striking resemblance to Moschino Forever and YSL L’Homme.

ObsessedJoydjay

I always thought it's quite similar to Lanvin L'Homme, so is Faconnable For Men (1994).
D&G Masculine (1999) offers a similar idea with a sharp clary sage.

You might also like MontBlanc Legend, as well as its Special Edition 2013 & 2012.

If you were in London after a light rain, this what fragrance smells like.. Amazing!

PierreLouis

I wonder why so many insist on reviewing 1995, 2000 or 2004 batches of this. It is totally useless for possible buyers since it is reformulated now.

highburyn5

Spicy, autumnal and quintessentially Burberry, it's a warm, woody scent that brings a dash of London sophistication to your cold weather fragrance game. Longevity is decent.

JupiterMoon

This was packaged in a brown box which looks to be the current version/reformulation. I haven't tried previous versions (which are in red boxes.) When I first sprayed it, I hardly got anything at all. It felt weak. But the dry down improved, mint with some smokiness and warmth. A pleasant smell and inoffensive. But more like a body spray or deodorant. It has a synthetic quality that doesn't always feel great on the skin. The drydown does linger for a while and the smoky mint is nice and refreshing. This is good for everyday, casual. It just doesn't have a great strength, so I had to use a lot of it. I find Burberry has good scents but there isn't much power behind them.

yourthemanowdog

burberry smells bright fresh but very generic . the guy who said reminded him of Herrera for men. i would have to disagree herrera smells alot different. . this would make a good replacement for goodlife by davidoff & the Ralph lauren big pony the green one both smells similar both no longer in production

Guccipordior

TL;DR: Stuck at Marshall's/TJ Maxx and can't decide if this is worth the money? It is. Go for it

This is something that I had a mini of for so long, liked it, and saw the bottle on clearance at TJ Maxx for like $24 for a 50ml. I figured it was worth a shot to get the full bottle because I liked the mini.

The mini was a dabber bottle, so I don't think I got the full effect. I haven't gotten around to reviewing this until now, and I haven't really given it proper wear. But from my initial impressions, this is an excellent, masculine, pleasing, simple and easy to wear fragrance. It has a "cologne" or "barbershop" kind of smell, and yes I see the similarities to Platinum Egoiste. I'm not sure what not is sweetening this one up, maybe the sandalwood? But the combination of notes is extremely pleasant. As it evolves, the scent becomes sweeter and softer. It is not very linear which I like. This is a really good fragrance.

I have always been a Burberry fan, and this is a very easy to wear fragrance. It may become my second favorite very quickly, my number on being Brit.

This is a clean, barbershop-like (not too powdery or anything), cologne that is not dated even though it came out years ago. I think this is a good every day fragrance. Not distinct enough for a signature fragrance. Good for casual wear, office wear, hanging out. It's really nice and I feel that Burberry always puts out great offerings.

I normally feel that Burberry's fragrances for women are better, and I still feel this way. But this one shows that there are some very very good Burberry fragrances for men. Touch, Brit, Brit Rhythm Intense, and even Weekend are good Burberry offerings as well.

This is a more gentlemanly cologne. It has a very familiar scent that I just can't put my finger on.

scentluvr

I really like this one from Burberry. I will say that the opening reminds me of bug spray, but I've never cared much about the opening of any fragrance anyway because by the time I'm out the door it's in dry-down mode which is when it really matters. To me it's a quality, well blended fragrance with more of a mature vibe but not "old". It's also slightly more dressed up than for errands with shorts and a t-shirt but perfect for the office, drinks, dinner, shopping, or a night out--casual or dressed up. I avoid it on those 90+ degree summer days when I prefer something fresher. Performance is moderate on my skin for 4-5 hours with two sprays on the neck and one on each forearm. If I need 8+ hours, I'll go a bit heavier on the trigger. It's affordable but very high quality in my opinion. I'm glad I have it in my collection.

Fragaddict123

Pleasant - refreshing - different
It reminded me of Herrera for men
The only bad thing is the performance really weak on me it destroys the experience
Almost after the second hour the scent disappeared

McCary90

I love this, always have and always will. I was a channel platinum agoiste fanatic for years and it was my signature scent for a long time. However during the mid 2010s I found that egoiste hadn't aged very well and became very much an older gent fragrance, they really went hard on adding more patchouli and cedar wood notes and seemed to completley drop the metallic moss element which made it sexy, fresh and flighty. Was really upset that a classic which had seen me through many years had been thrown to ruin. It was a nostalgia that I thought I would never get back.

Was in a bargain drug store and Burberry was on the shelves in amongst a fragrance Pompeii of many others which had been heavy hitters years back. Being a huge anglophile I gave it a blind buy, my heavens was I surprised. This fragrance was PE improved ×10. It was everything that PE was in its heyday but with a sweeter and more airy presence which I love. Immediately upon application I received loads of compliments. The silage on this is perfect, it's not too over powering but instead lures people in with a subtle air of confidence (I have never been one to want to invade a room with an ostentatious smell). With the dry down it gets better and better where the sweetness really shows its presence. All for a fraction of the price of Chanel PE. This one is a proper gem and is simply a perfect fragrance for all, I cant believe what I had been missing all these years, a solid 10/10

FlirtBoy

Can anyone give an opinion on those new batches with different cap and box? Thank You ♥

ideal.my.fav

(2004 batch) the opening is fresh and boozy with some cirtrus. after that it changes a lot on my skin and becomes a little sweeter. quality is nice but the performance is not the best.

scent 8/10
longevity 6/10
sillage 5/10
projection 7/10
price 8/10

edit: some people said that the new batches lacks of the vanilla in the drydown. i agree with you. i went to sephora to compare both and they were pretty much similar but the new one had some issues with the vanilla. but still smells amazing. performence is similar 2.

skaccomatto

The pyramid in this one has been changed over the original formulation and it now lacks the vanilla in the base and the jasmine in the middle notes. What I get is a incredibly sweet, mellow and creamy amber fragrance. The opening is cologne-y, with very light citrus and lavander notes (I don't smell the mint honestly). It turns alcoholic and boozey as soon as the initial bergamot-lavander accord fades, which happens pretty quickly, with a distinct tart fruity note to it - someone mentioned pear and I think it's pretty close to an unripe pear indeed.

Burberry for Men reminds me of a cup of warm milk with some booze and lots of honey in it - it's comforting and warm and definitely suitable for cold weather, but a bit too sweet for me.

My batch is from 2000 (batch code 0253).

Majed Debian

my bottle is burberrys with s from 1995
amazing stuff

This reminds me of a cold but sunny winter day, with just a month left until spring. It’s a delicately sweet, frosty essence of light fruit (almost pear-like?) subtle florals and fresh spicy herbs. Not overly male and not quite female. Not necessarily geared toward attracting romantic pursuits either (IMO); though undeniably classy, clean, lovely and reserved.

YSL L’homme seems fairly similar, though not entirely.

I first tried it in ‘07 and was fascinated with how different it was—not in a challenging or complex sort of way, just different than mainstream fragrances I had been around up to that point. I bought 100ml around 2012 and still have 25% of the bottle. It doesn’t excite me enough to be a daily driver, but it’s nice to smell on occasion (though if I’m being 100% honest, and depending on the day, I may or may not care enough to replace it when it’s gone).

baranbatu.04

I bought it for very cheap and I believe that this is a really nice office scent its clean like detergent and it projects really good but not that kind of projection that gives everyone headaches. The dry down is good and still smells like the opening

jcharriez

Just received this today as a gift. I really appreciate the 95' vibe this fragrance gives off. At first i was a little bit leary but after the drydown it turned into a vanilla, fruity and lavender. Drydown garnered some of the most unique compliments.
😘 Can't wait to see how it cuts through this winter season.

metalmickey

using this for a decade now i layer it with ck obsession and it never failed to fetch me compliments! only gripe is i finish both the bottles together and always have to purchase both of them together!

roccotool

Lots of sweetness on initial spray, bergamot, vanilla, lavender with some sour notes.
Drydown has the jasmine and fruits coming through and musk begins the more it sits.

Given to me as a gift, Burberry for Men seems a marketing trick to get more sales.
The sour notes that develop make it resemble a drugstore "my version" of a well known brand.

Unisex all the way; I gotta have manly.

Fvnnesse

Bang for your buck 6/10

aqua76239

I been into men's and unisex scents lately and I got this for cheap at Ross(discount retailer for those of you who don't know). I think it was 14.99. Actually I really like it-its fresh and bit citrusy scent thats very unisex. I layered it with Cloud by Ariana Grande which is sweeter so its a nice compliment. I find cologne top notes fleeing but oakmoss and amber base lasts for hours and hours. It doesn't project a lot though. If you want fresh inoffensive scent thats appropriate for work, this is very safe blind buy

maxpowerboston

This review is for the "Burberrys for Men" vintage version of this (red box, plaid bottom, Burberrys, not Burberry, London label, the earliest 1995 edition). This is a pleasant, classy woody/fruity/spicy scent that smells a bit 90s/early 00s but not unwearable, at all.

I get mint, some fruity accords (not citrus - more like blueberry?), a bit of lavender, and some green herbal scents up top. The base is classic vanilla/musk/wood 90s base. Very little, if any, sweetness. It's an office scent, a daytime scent, an inoffensive scent.

I remember smelling this something in the last decade at a Nordstrom Rack and it wasn't nearly as nice as this (way more synthetic to my memory and I immediate thought "no way."). This is pretty natural, pretty clean. I get solid longevity, 5-7 hours, with a few hours of moderate projection.

A 7.75/10 for me. It's hard to complain about a clean, natural, classy scent that performs.

Kuldeep S

sweet , minty like toothpaste. not long lasting.
good fragrance.

Dusk

This was one of the first fragrances I have ever received: it was gifted to me on my eighteenth birthday.

Burberry Men does quite well overall, although it's quite a soft fragrance with a moderate-poor longevity and a moderate-faint sillage.

The olfactory pyramid is quite static, but pleasant: I recall sensing jasmine, golden tobacco, thyme, cedar, sandalwood, with an honey talc-amber, musky finish.

It is sweet and ideal for younger men. I'd advise it for daytime and as it's very versatile, can be also used for college/office.

Undoubtedly it gives you a signature englishman scent, even if its performances are just... average. Nice nose, crowd pleaser fragrance.

If you haven't yet, I'd advise at least to give it a try; it could be your next scent purchase.

jasmeet4000

This is a brilliant scent that for me can be worn anytime of the day. I am a woman and I wear this to the office. This is not a heavy smell, it settles in very nice and leaves more of a sweet scent rather than woody. Easily one of my top 10. I consider this unisex.

patrickBOOTH

So when I was younger in high school I was a bit of an Anglophile and consumed anything and everything British. I wanted to smell British so I would wear some Burberry stink I would buy at the mall (what I am reviewing). I thought it was my signature scent and everybody loved it. I cannot recall how many sprays I would use, or where I would apply them, however there was a major shift that occurred. When I got to college this website came out called "Facebook". You might have even heard of it. Well in those days Facebook had these applications you could have on your page. One of the applications that I had on my page was called "Honesty Box" which was where friends, or other users (if you were public) could write you a message and "be honest" anonymously. I only ever received one message in that box which read "You're really cute, but you wear too much cologne." From that day until about last month I never wore a fragrance again. I am 34 years old today.

Since that day I kind of wrote off fragrance wearing as somebody who is trying to impress, or appear suave but just appearing as lame to most people. Kind of like those middle aged people who have overly white veneers or dentures. You ain't foolin' nobody, man! I am come a long way and with help of my girlfriend have fallen in love with fragrances. Don't get me wrong, I find most of them to be cloying disasters, but I liken well integrated fragrances to everything else pleasurable and slightly hedonistic (wine, coffee, spirits, etc).

I need to revisit this bottle of stink in my ripe, old age.

Now that I have blabbed on a good amount I will tell you, young friend, don't overdo it or you might receive a message in your very own honesty box.

Alreadygentleman

This is a review of a fragrance which was bought in 2020.
This fragrance is not for everyone for sure. I imagine Matthew McConaughey wears this in the "The Gentlemen" movie! English vibes with a touch of a sophistication and aristocracy are all around.
The smell - It starts off, I would say, very harsh. You will feel a blast of spices which fades away rather quickly. The initial notes could be off-putting for someone. After that, the sweetness mixed with some kind of sourness starts to kick in. The woody part of a fragrance appears when it fades away.
This is a very well-blended fragrance. I agree with others who said that you couldn't detect any particular note.
I can't even describe the smell. It neither sweet, nor fresh. You just feel pleasant vibes of it here and there.
Age group - definitely 35 and up.
Longevity is around eight hours, easily. The smell stays on clothes forever even after the washing.
Projection - it's almost a skin scent with a very good projection for an hour or so.
Occasion - definitely for business! Great for office environments.
Overall I recommend this fragrance for those who like quality and sophistication, do business, don't like anything mass market, want to be different and want to be an English gentleman!
P.S. A signature scent, alright!

Thomaso7

a bit of one of those generic freshy scents. i do smell some mint, and a citrusy woody spicyness, and a simple type of spicy musk. it is on the freshy side, so doesnt hold much interest for me.

Metaleagle73

Sensual, elegant & a true gentleman. Will always have it in my collection. Spicy fresh, I had it in my late teens & I still have it today (36yrs).

I have the old version in the red box. This smells very much like Platinum Egoiste, but lighter. The mint, herb, wood combo is pleasant and never bright. No one will notice this scent unless very close. This is for the man who wants to smell nice, but not distract ladies with their sexy aura. No one will ever hate this, but it not good enough to love either.

Dr.Myles

This deserves more love as a 90s frag that has navigated the 2000s with class. Now going into the 2020s, I am incredibly curious to see how it manouevres the coming decade...hmm.

A safe, polished buy for my beau, and it has become his daily scent. Wonderfully blended citrus, woods, lavender and a sweetness there that makes it something a bit special. Moderate projection and longevity. Not meant to be a beast, but a refined gentleman. Not a showstopper, but a dependable and smooth frag for everyday enjoyment. We are on our second bottle.

ÔParfum!

Citrusy and herbal.

Well blended. Great one.

For serious and mysterious men.

Very distinguished.

Projection is weak, it doesn't last hours.

The smell is so attractive but discrete.

Not for every one. I appreciate.

Koflan

The first time I smelled this, for whatever reason, I found it woody, earthy, and masculine. I picked up a bottle on the cheap, and now all I smell is sweet, minty lavender. There's some woodiness in there, but I can't get past the pretty synthetic top.

There are other fragrances that do similar things to me, and I've found that I really can't stand syrupy lavender scents. I wanted to like Missoni Parfum Pour Homme, but that candied lavender note was too much.

I would like this if it wasn't for the sweetness, and the mint.

Lomasfuerte

A Timeless classic for me is a real masterpiece in perfumery
All the notes are so well blended that create it own aroma
You can’t pick each nite by it sell
Wen I smell this makes me happy is like a symphony for my nose
The best of Burberry
This has no age ,you can use it dress up or naked who care smell AMAZING
i have over 150 perfumes and this is the only one so we’ll blended that you can’t pick the individual notes
Just one single amazing and unique smell

johnfeidu

For the older the gentleman.
Clean and fresh.
Pleasant although slightly synthetic.
Classic.
Moderate longevity and projection.

I really loved the scent when it came out, but my third bottle (in 2004) was reformulated and had terrible sour synthetic top notes with overall deferent feeling in negative way. That was my last bottle. Since then this scent become a generic standard for fashion stores, every shoe box smelled like this... but I can still remember how good rich and well blended were the first releases, creamy sandalwood with bergamot and tea, classic.

GardeniaLover

Pasha Cartier for men and this are slightly the same, and then down the shore is Cool water, I am not sure how I will have all three in my wardrobe but I will. Minty, lavender woody fragrances.

jrm562

I actually enjoyed this scent. It has been some time now since I have worn it but I do remember it being a nice safe fragrance something you can run errands and the like. It was give to me by an ex girl which she really liked at the time and that's always a good thing. Overall very linear and safe pleasant scent.

Santos89

Burberry for men has to be the definition of a grey fragrance. Not in the mysterious sense, but in the sense of grey. A grey wall. A Nissan Sunny. Something utterly boring.

It's not a bad fragrance.

It's scent and construction is indicative of it's 1995 release date.

You have bergamot and lavender in the top, sandalwood and cedar in the middle, and the base is laundry musk and cedar. Sprinkle a bit of mint on top and voila.

On paper, Burberry for men sounds intriguing and interesting.

In reality, it's utterly flat. I am not sure what they did, but the scent comes across as 2D and dull.

Any textures are non-existent. None of the notes are trying to catch you attention.

If you want to buy a mid 90s woody aromatic, I implore you to skip this. Get Hugo For Men or Escape for Him. Both are much more interesting and compelling choices.

Longevity is mediocre - 4-5 hours.

Rating: 3.5/10

YahniCash

What a timeless classic scent. It’s very relaxing minty Woody citrusy aroma. Peacefulness and tranquility come to mind. I enjoy wearing this just before crawling in to bed. I just don’t think it’s a scent that could ever be considered old or dated. Tonight wearing it, I caught a slight similarity to Bleu De Chanel parfum(2018). The woods and citrus gave me that impression. Of course the mint is tuned up more here than BDC parfume.
It seems simple yet it paints a picture. I love scents that invoke a story in the minds eye. The scene is always calm and a little laughter with this one.

mithion

I wonder if we need to create a new page for this cologne. I'm wondering if it was slightly reformulated after Burberry removed the "London" designation from this cologne (probably to avoid confusion with Burberry London which is an entirely different EdT). The new bottles just say "Burberry for Men" and the note list is a bit different than what's above.

New formulation per Burberry's own website

Top: Bergamot, Lavender, Mint and Thyme
Mid: Oakmoss, Geranium, Sandalwood
Base: Amber and Cedarwood

I don't get any jasmine, musk or vanilla from my newest bottle of this stuff...

FlirtBoy

don´t know whether this was reformulated but I´ve got a tester bottle back in summer 18´ and it´s still same scent as my older bottles - projection is smooth/moderate and longevity around 8 hours

Edit: ok, got another bottle in 10/2019 and the longevity is not as good as in my older bottles...will need to do more testing and get another one now in 2020

Attlas

The scent is by far my favourite! But the longevity of this fragrance is so disapointing :( I really wish this had decent performence... Not beast mode... just normal! It is truly disapointing. It smells so good, different, elegant, sensual and alive! And it is so versatile!
Just for the scent it is a 10
The performance is below 5

:(

Ryanmmas26

A pretty basic scent in my opinion and another scent that I wish on fragrantica you could give a neutral rating as it’s not great but definitely not bad either.

To describe this scent is a bit weird which I guess is actually a good thing as it is different !
But this opens up very minty with some citrus and thyme, making this kind of herbal but also fresh. Once this dries down the sandalwood and lavender kick in and your left with an aromatic but also kind of creamy type of smell. When you smell this up close it’s kind of synthetic and scratchy smelling but in the air you do smell a nice fresh, creamy aroma. When you smell this in the air is my favorite part of this scent.

Performance is average as it lasts 4-6 hours and projects moderately BUT be cautious as this is very strong in the first 20-30 mins but quickly dies down to a nice subtle scent bubble.

Overall rating-6.5 out of 10 ! Kind of generic but pleasant enough to get a passing score. Also the price on this is very cheap so it gets points for that as well. BUT I even have cheap frags I would pick over this. Even from the Burberry house Burberry Touch easily beats this in scent and performance.

DrNDJas

I am reviewing the vintage version with "Burberry's" on the bottle and red box (not burgundy). I am the kind of person that believes in wearing different fragrances for different occasions. Burberry Men is the business causal scent in my wardrobe, the khakis, button down and loafers wearing, Honda Accord driving gentleman of my fragrance universe. A little mint, a little lavender, woody base, a touch of sweetness: all the ingredients of a classic male fragrance. It behaves modestly yet faithfully, never offending and never calling attention to itself. Some occasions call for a perfume after this manner, and Burberry Men is my #1 dumb grab when occasion demands I don a suburban-dad scent. It is my favorite? No. Is it a revelation? No. Will it make stranger do a double-take as you walk past? No, none of that. However, it is perhaps the most well-mannered, mild, pleasing scent I have yet encountered. Grab yourself an affordable bottle and wear it to Olive Garden for lunch with coworkers and let the magic unfold.

cybersyllables

Minty and Geranium with woods in the background smells kinda like Platinum Egoiste, but
for much cheaper.A hidden gem.

jay theodore

Got this and its really nice. The drydown is oh so enjoyable you want to smell your self. I got one complement from a girl who I was working with she really likes it.

The NEGATIVE? It doesn't last at all I have to literally spay 10-15 sprays to have a decent scent bubble.

Smell is Fantastic IMO Very enjoyable when you actually smell it.

Edit... Scent 9/10 Performance 2/10 longevity 3/10

A real masterpiece all the notes are so we'll blended that creates his own unique smell
This is A must have in any collection

Okay the photo shows Burberry London but this seems to be the listing for Burberry Men - that's what I have and that's what I'll be reviewing here. There's a different listing for Burberry London.

Right after applying, the scent is incredible. It's very sweet but not in an excessive way at all - the citrus, thyme and sandalwood all balance it out perfectly.

The real problem is it doesn't last long enough. After an hour or two it fades and it doesn't fade in a fun or interesting way. It just retains a weak trace of some of the ingredients but not all. If I smell my wrist after an hour or two it's sort of incomplete and unsatisfying compared to the initial spray. Other colognes can change and become even more interesting throughout the day but this one doesn't.

Apparently this has been reformulated so it's possible the older bottles had better longevity.

It's a good scent but I'd prefer something else with better longevity even if it weren't quite so heavenly on the first spray.

joe38

A perfect 90s fragrance that can not spoil your shopping ...
Conventional, stable powder scent with floral chords! Interestingly, my skin is more acidic and mistyer, but in the air it is more floral and aromatic.
Gently simple and yet a sympathetic "snob" fragrance.
I personally like it. Whatever season you can wear gentleman fragrance,
but not on the classic line, but with a modern twist to the floral aromas!
In my country the "tester" version is very "friendly" at 12-15 €,
which is great value for money! I can only say: You can not miss this!

dinoflop

It is a pleasant, light scent BUT it has practically no longevity or sillage. I had to use ~8 sprays just to be able to smell it on me an hour or so later. If they had a more concentrated version I would consider (maybe an EDP instead of EDT), but in its current state I would not buy again.

chopster

This is a Great formal, masculine, elegant and professional scent. The minty opening is short lived but the dry down is something else. Smooth Sandalwood, just a barely noticeable hint of musk but the star is the lavender. It's a peppery herby lavender as in Hypnose Homme by Lancome that lasts almost 6 hours.
Very good. 8/10.

Raees Saint

This is a classic mint fragrance. Totally classy with just enough silage to make people notice you. Beautiful for meetings and serious negotiations. Not a juvenile scent. Quite formal and sophisticated

medgy

Great balance of green and spicy notes. It may be heavy on bold skins especially in hot days. Acceptable longevity with satisfying sillage. Minus site is its popularity if an unique choice is intended.

ThirtySixPercent

Elegant and masculine. It opens crisp and clean and progresses to a woody dry-down. It smells slightly sweet and creamy in the air, but up close to the skin its sharp and dry.

Performance is above average with decent projection. It can become too strong if over-applied.

To me this fragrance is for a mature, serious gentleman - best suited for cool spring mornings

Scent: 6.5/10
Performance: 6.5/10

I am very grateful that Burberry still makes this fragrance, although its availability appears to be somewhat limited in Australia. This classic creamy woods scent deserves to be more well-known among the younger consumers. In my opinion, it far surpasses many of the masculine offerings from the current Burberry line.

Burberry for Men is the epitome of class and masculinity. To my nose, this fragrance smells both fresh, soothing and soapy. The most dominant notes to my nose include lavender, sandalwood, cedar, musk, amber and mint.

I accidentally tipped the majority of my 1ml sample onto my wrist in error but was pleased to find that this fragrance is relatively inoffensive. I think most men would enjoy wearing this fragrance as you can either dress it up or dress it down. Burberry for Men is extremely versatile.

When my partner eventually grows out of the sweeter masculine scents he often wears, I will be sure to introduce him to Burberry for Men. I also wouldn't have any objection to owning and wearing a bottle of this myself. The creamy sandalwood accord makes this fragrance perfectly unisex.

The longevity is superb and the sillage moderate to soft, depending on the number of sprays. I sincerely hope that Burberry will continue to manufacture their 'vintage' fragrances as I admittedly enjoy them far better than their current offerings.

The herbs in the opening give this scent a barbershop feel. There is a solid mint blast that mellows into thyme finally ending in a woody musky drydown. nice, fresh and elegant. a perfect workspace scent. Not in your face and don't see anyone offended by it. Good longevity. disagree with the Moschino Uomo similarity comment. Uomo? starts out much more citrusy and mellows more creamier than Burberry Man. Both elegant - one in an Italian way...the other more British.

Scent 9/10
Sillage 8/10
Longevity 6/10

Best worn during winter and fall.
Best suited for gentleman.

I've smelled it on people who walked by. I've owned it myself.
It's worth the price.

fisken23

Blast of mint in the opening. Not sweet at all. Its a rather warm and cosy smell. I think it will shine in indoor settings, office for example. I like this one a lot. Maximum four sprays, or you will not be welcome back to the office :)

mithion

This is my favorite of the Burberry colognes. It's a rather unique fragrance that is classy and sophisticated. It's interesting that people note mint as being the dominant note. For me, I feel like thyme is the dominant opening note. It opens up in savory herbal way. The mid notes are floral with jasmine really showing up followed by a nice warm amber finish. Performance has been variable. From the same bottle, I sometimes get beast performance and longevity while other days the fragrance is gone in 3 hours. I live in a dry climate so your mileage may vary. It's definitely not a super sexy fragrance. It wouldn't be my first choice for a date night. But it's amazing for the office as it comes off as very professional. Although I would argue this works better in the colder months, it's fresh enough that you can easily pull it off during the summer if you're a one cologne kind of person. For how popular this fragrance is, few people seem to recognize it so it'll definitely make you stand out. It's been my signature fragrance for years now and every time I go and explore other options, I always come back to this one. It's that good.

nm29

Underrated gem. True classic. Very elegant and subtle.

legion

Mint is the most obvious note. It's mixed very well with citrus and woody smells to make it versatile and classic.

I can see why this has many more likes than loves. It's missing a wow factor. Me personally I love mint so it's a definite love. The mint is more fresh and clean than the herbal "plant" mint in ultraviolet man for example or the very earthy mint in roadster cartier. It more resembles aqua allegoria herba fresca but think more woody and less watery.

Very good price too, I will add it to my collection soon.

nm29

Timeless gem.

Opening is similar to davidoff champion. Then the mid comes out.a pleasant light citrus mint and green like aroma.very nice..
Not one i reach for often but worth a sniff. Not as good as Burberry London imho

Hall2799

The only way I can describe this scent is a light mint and lavender type clean smell with a light musky vanilla dry down. Not heavy at all. Very well blended but projection on this scent will surprise you. When I sprayed it on I liked it, but it's a hard one to describe. I didn't think it was that special when I smelled it on myself, but when I came home I was shocked how the women in my life reacted. My wife is very particular and will rarely tell me I smell good. When she smelled this she instantly told me how elegant and manly I smelled. My daughter also immediately said , "wow you smell fantastic". I was amazed that a scent I thought to be mediocre, was so highly praised by two very picky women. I own many, very sophisticated fragrances. Even Dior Sauvage, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme or Bleu de Chanel did not get me this same reaction. This scent is extremely elegant yet also very manly according to my wife. This might possibly become my signature scent. Even tho it's a bit hard to smell on yourself, don't let it fool you. This is a good one, believe me. I am very happy I blind bought this fragrance.

Thee Maestro

Sophisticated, masculine, yes, I concur with those assessments. Sheer class, who wouldn't want that? I love this perfume.

It's very masculine.
A very classy, trustworthy and an excellent man's scent!
If you have any doubts on what to apply today... this frag is always a good choice.

Carlitos

Smooth and pleasant like a man wearing Burberry clothing should be.
In my opinion it may be used all the year round, day and night,
It's trustworthy like a Londoner should be.

Xzotic Smells

Mellow, smooth and sensual. This is a fresh green woody fragrance that would brighten your aura. Clean and herbal smelling not really herbal like a garden but good whiffs like after a heavy rain. I wear it on very mild days, Less humidity gives it more umph! Better part of the classic fragrance line up. As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

NewYorkLady2015

I love and wear this one with a passion! It's soft, warm, and woody on me.
I'm a woman so I don't belong to the original target group. But hey...wear whatever you like and suits you, right?

SalouS

Pure masculine Italian style. I get vibes of Salvatore Ferragamo pour homme.

Lemon, Thyme, mix of herbal scents, cedar and little Jasmine.

Works for summer but I find it perfect for Fall.

Great longevity and projection.

I recommend.

robvs

I purchase a bottle every few years and it's the only bottle in my life that hasn't been "played out" in my mind. I keep going back to it. I keep loving it. I've smelled it on other people and it smells completely different. I'm just in love with it. And it's so cheap these days.

fromthebayandaroundtheway

Burberry Men is a mellow scent. It is smooth and and very pleasant. This fragrance is fresh and herbaceous and ends in a very sweet dry down. I really appreciate the simplicity of Burberry Men and how well blended it is. This is a woody aromatic that verges on fougere and has considerable longevity on my skin. The progression of this composition is perfect, and at the end you are set up for a perfect payoff in the dry down. The lavender, thyme and oak moss segue towards this great musk, amber and vanilla dry down. There is a bit of a barbershop vibe with this fragrance, and a definite classic and sophisticated feel as well. This scent is perfect for the work place, and fits well in the spring and fall rotation. This is masculine perfumery executed with restraint and class!

Forget Freeman

Understated, classy, sophisticated.

Very fresh and dignified.
on a well dressed guy who has good manners this is pretty much a guaranteed compliment getter.

Also the aftershave version is one of my all-time favourites, very cooling and soothing.

Nice!

Geminiemerald77

Sharp, fresh, clean, and sophisticated. Lasts all day. My signature fragrance..

joerodeo92

Unpretentious and confident. This is a man who wears a bespoken suit as though he was born in it. It does not shout the names of those around bombastically. It willingly flies under the radar and delights anyone willing to look away from the specious distractions of life and the superficial luster that offers nothing more than eye candy of the most transient variety.

Timeless, inimitable, and ridiculously underrated. My nose mainly detects the intermingling of cedar, crisp mint, and a little lavender on the side. This was the first fragrance I ever fell in love with and subsequently purchased for myself. Unquestionably English and sanguine. Sillage is good. It radiates within one foot of the wearer. Longevity is moderate with 5-6 hours per application. Like a glass of fine amaretto, this one is mighty good company to keep.

Lockon

If you love thyme, this is the fragrance for you!
Feel like I'm seasoning dinner...while wearing this.
Anyway, it last about 6 hours.
I never do more than 3 sprays of a scent...
So the sillage on this one after I apply it.
Is about two feet tops.
If you get past the Thyme, which doesn't go anywhere.
It is an okay scent.
3.3oz Bottle....$30.00
I don't hate it and I can't like it either.

D-Bo

I'm surprised that the Oakmoss is so far down on the list. What I get from this is a big hit of mint and an earthy, almost wet smelling oakmoss base. The bergamot is non-existent to me. Sandalwood is in the background there as well as some light florals but none are really discernable individually in my opinion.

As far as the scent goes... I don't love it and sometimes I don't even like it. For me it is an average fragrance with average performance. Most days I tell myself "F%$# average!!!", so this is not really for me. Burberry is one of those houses that just doesn't appeal to me at all. Both of my Burberry frags were gifts and I would never buy one myself.

caifan

Burberry Men is a good fragrance, is so aromatic, elegant an woody.

At the beggining is fresh, I can smell citrus and mint, but especially excels thyme. I had a little bottle of thyme oil and this fragrance has that essence. Later it evolves to a more sweet and woody phase, where I can smell some of amber, vanilla and cedar

This could be used in every time of the year, preferably with fresh weather and for mature people, but if you are young and it like you, go for it.

Melted

I took to this immediately. Very nice fragrance from Burberry and one of those I wish I had discovered sooner.

The best 'new' fragrance I have bought for a while.

Bingles21

Burberry for Men is a winner in my books - Love LOVE this fragrance.

Seriously, a lot of the hype around frags from this designer usually falls toward the London and Brit scents I find, but this one deserves just as much recognition, if not more.

The vanilla and sandalwood combined with the fresh green notes are simply wonderful; makes me feel like an English novelist strolling through the countryside on a windy afternoon. I also feel like both younger and more mature people could pull this one off well. Decent projection too.

Highly recommended. Great stuff!

Outstanding fragrance gentlemen, one I've found that the ladies love!!!

Buckeye

A classic and timeless British masterpiece. It is one of my all time favorite fragrances even though I have moved into niche products.

I have had so many good memories from it. Classy women truly appreciate this fragrance. A must have in any collection.

Lubeff

I have been wearing this cologne for approx. 15 years and it still surprises me every time for its distinctiveness, elegance and how long it lasts on my skin and clothes. Woody, crisp, yet citrusy it is the perfect cologne for any hour of the day. I tend to use it more during the summer months.

Definitely a landmark in a men cologne stable.

LAboy scent expert

So sad :( it used to be amazing ! Rich , powerful and a show stopper , now is week , synthetic and similar but not quite ... Reformulation is classics nemesis indeed . Don't pay full price, is on eBay or marshals 30 bucks 100ml if you want to smell kinda like what it used to be . 5/10 longevity, 6/10 silage and 6/10 scent .
If you want to smell like the old one , there's a closer scent from Ralph Lauren the ponny collection color orange , if they haven't reformulate that one aswell anyways :) cause that one is a powerhouse :)

joenick68

I finally got to wear this one, I am pleased but not amused, per say, and I think The Brit and Brit summer are still my favorite ones from this brand but I am wondering how Mr. Burberry smells.

AmmoSexual

Like an English gent that wakes up very early, that's been truffle-hunting amongst the berry bushes, then in the afternoon, fine cordials for an early nap.

abderrahim

I recommand this MASCULIN and woody frag. One of the best from Burberry. You can wear it in all time-day!

Ale

I think they've reformulated this one. I had this fragrance in the 2005, and i remember it was gorgeus. Now, instead, it has become very synthetic, too far from the original (and classy and refined) version.

mixim72

Fair and discreet, a sober and gentle perfume for young adults who do NOT want to be center of the attention, BUT prefer to remain unnoticed although ineffably present.
As in: "Yes, It's me. I'm here, but I prefer to whisper than to shout. Call it elegance, dear. Would you care to sit down and listen to this old song by Doris Day?"

sesa_53

az ekmeğini yemedim teşekkürler burberry :))

maverickteja

I first tested it at my brother's and it was amazing. I'd randomly open and smell the sprayer. It was that good. He had a 1.7 Oz. His wife is from UK and I thought maybe she got it for him.

1 year later, I ordered a 100 ml and I don't know if the bottle I purchased was bad or they had reformulated it that year or it was the fact that I purchased it in the US, it didn't smell anything like what it had smelled before. It is not bad, but definitely not what I was awed at.

I am still a novice at picking up the notes, so I'll leave that to the experts. It's definitely a day time cologne and do not expect a massive sillage or longevity. It lasted about 1 hr on my skin but a little over 3 hrs on my shirts.

Would I buy it again? If I can get what I had smelled first, 200%. I'd actually buy a bottle more and keep it in stock, just in case I never find it again. But with what I have, may be not. There are better colognes out there that I haven't tried.

Roman86

I first tried Burberry for Men in the early 2000s as a teenager and liked it back then. I could have sworn it used to be much stronger but like with many things the quality over the years has gotten weaker probably from different ingredients no longer being allowed. That's not to say that the current formulation is not potent. It's deceptively strong because it still maintains a mellow edge that's not overpowering. When first sprayed it seems like a mild fragrance but it persists and projects well despite getting olfactory fatigue with it pretty quickly. It's a sweet yet sophisticated fragrance that maintains a seductive balance between youth and maturity.

Street_Chemist

It may have come out in 95, but this was my first fragrance in 03. I adore this unfathomably. I had no idea what my friend bought for me was going to instantly change my entire perspective on cologne :) I don't dare say any fragrance remind me of summer or winter etc. This however remind me of friendship it's composed brilliantly. The aroma beatific, dreamy, charming, sophisticated, sensual, amazing. & presentation is simple and classy. there many wonderful things I can say about this fragrance, but none of my words can express what this mean to me. I hope you do give it a try because this will always instantly take me back to my teens and memories I'll never forget. Perfect 10 :)

GoodVibrations

Spicy, sexy soap. Intoxicating. An apple accord almost peeks through the lavender-spice woolen scarf that warms this authentic, seductive manbrew. It smells like the color of the box. A modern successor of Habit Rouge.

zkxnyi278

i like this stuff a lot but (not a bad but) it reminds me a ton of curve for men, it smells just the same just not as like 'airy' (maybe the word is ozonic? i dunno) like curve left his teens and became burberry for men, its really nice stuff though

silentman26

Exciting, sophisticated, luxurious ... starts fresh with bergamot, lavender, geranium and a hint of mint mixed with thyme ... then becomes warm, sensual and slightly sweet with cedar and sandalwood ... joined by amber, musk and vanilla. A classic fragrance, with great projection ... high quality, well blended ... amazing scent!

Nick1992

Burberry Men is a mature, masculine and subtle fragrance that I can’t help but find bland.

Men opens immediately with the fruitiness of bergamot, violet leaf, mint, lavender and thyme. Strong cedar and a dark tobacco are clear in the early fade which mellows with a dry sweetness. Eventually the dry down reveals smooth amber and musk notes, possibly vanilla also, that pair well with the wood as it softens.

Although pleasant this isn't an exciting fragrance. Very mass market.

Longevity and sillage are good-excellent.

Chicago Tony T

Been wearing this for over 5 years now. Strong cedar/amber drydown. Very masculine and good for nights and days. A bit of spices help to balance it out and I also get a honey accord which a previous reviewer mentioned. Performance is solid with about 5 or 6 hours of longevity and 4 hours of silage. A nice economy woody scent that can be used for daily wear.

ShaverX

I am so impressed with this fragrance. I can't believe it's been out since the year after I graduated and I've never once sampled it until recently.

After a recent purchase of Vera Wang for Him which I totally love but find it evaporates into nothing within 2 hours I set of to find something similar but stronger, longer and more well rounded. Well this is it. It's so warm and boozy yet sporty at the same time. It's office, wedding, rainy day, sunny day. It is classy as all hell. I think I could wear this every day and be happy. My wife loves it too and she doesn't generally say much since she knows I buy a new fragrance every week. But yesterday she ran into my den just to figure out which one this was. She was impressed. I was impressed. This is an underrated classic. Amazing Amazing Amazing. A+

Bought blind and after testing I rather like this. Vanilla, musk, jasmine, sandalwood and cedar...all my favorites in one place. Absolutely does remind me of my times in England. It reminds me of damp (in a good way) and comfortable. Fresh yet woody. Masculine but not overly so. Well balanced and beautifully crafted.

Madholm

It's been a while since I've worn this so I won't try to remember all the notes. Suffice to say I liked it at the time, but I certainly didn't repurchase the scent. I did pick up a small bottle of Brit instead which will probably end up with the same fate. All of my Burberry has been blind buys or impulse buys. While not disappointing they also haven't been big hits for me.

jiujitsuhero

I remember getting this fragrance in the 9th grade as a gift. My first time i used it, i put too much and pretty much choked out alot of people. they did not like it. Until i went back the next day with more control on the trigger. 2 sprays, neck and one down the middle of my body. I was getting compliments like crazy. This fragrance is still in my collection and will continue to be till i die.

lovetoshopmum

Bought this for my husband for his 43rd birthday. I fell in love with it when I tried it in the pharmacy. I bought him the new lacoste sport one but had to go back and buy this one also (which was reduced to 20 euro for 30ml. I love it so much that I've been wearing it myself. Believe me men this is what women want to smell on a man, not any of those new fragrances that are too feminine. If you are single you wont be for long after wearing this. Enjoy x

jimmyo1

I made a purchase of this for daily office wear, and what a good choice.
A fine classy woodsy scent with a slight citrusy background.
Great for that revitalising feeling when going to work in the morning with a warm glow about you!

great price and subtle aromas make this a winner.

Well done Burberry

adamantyr

The image on this fragrance is wrong, it is NOT Burberry London... similar but not the same. This is now showing up frequently at discount stores such as Ross and Marshalls.

My girlfriend and I saw this one and were interested because she had just tried Burberry Brit which was a marvelous scent on her and we wanted to find something for me as well. Fortunately there was an Ulta right next door with a tester, so we did a spray test.

At first, it had a good warm spicy scent that was not unpleasing... but as we walked through the store, the drydown quickly lost the spiciness and became a strange grassy herbal smell... very reminisent of oregano. My girlfriend remarked that I smelled like italian food!

It may smell and dry down differently on someone else's skin, but I'd advise finding a tester first and trying it out before putting money down on it. A real disappointment, given how good the rest of the Burberry line is.

mufasa

This fragrance smells awesome! Reminds me of James Bond as a matter of fact. It just smells so high class and sophisticated. It's a very formal scent but in a really gooood way. I'm going to buy this perfume again soon, this and perry ellis m are my two favorite fragrances. Everyone should try this gem, I see it in Ross for $20 American for a 1 oz. I have no idea why this is not as liked or as popular as burberry London

fumeguy

Just got my second bottle, don't know how I resisted so long to get this awesome perfume..

Aardwolf

Based on the reviews I thought it would be a safe present for my grumpy dad. Alas... although my mum and me sniffed him and found it to be a very pleasant scent, he commented: "it smells like a pig".

SucceeD87

It is strong, fresh.

Cassiano

Writing about Burberry for Men is a pleasure. One of the most correct aromatics in the world of perfumery, in my humble opinion, this perfume is a true masterpiece that combines freshness with quality and elegance.

Burberry for Men (initially known as London because of the inscription on the packaging) is the unanimous result of praise from those who know its scent.

Opening with top notes of bergamot, lavender, and mint, combined with the spicy and slightly leathery aspect of the thyme, the fragrance produces a refreshing effect that immediately appears to be woody and fuller with its body notes of cedar, sandalwood, oakmoss, geranium, and the lovely jasmine. Finally, as if in an instant of intense contrasts, the fragrance brings musk and the creaminess of amber and vanilla, a note that I love in fragrances.

Burberry for Men combines perfectly with professional environments, evening events of various types, social clothing, or even a little more sporting and, of course, hot days. It has a lot of versatility, although it wouldn't be my first suggestion on colder days. It is an elegant scent, which exudes and lasts very well and leaves no room for error.

Houdini4

Okay...this came out in 95 and was by no means a classic manly scent nor was it a bland aquatic juice of the era Burberry for men is something else entirely and not in a positive way.
Something about this fragrance is dated...maybe it's the date? ;)
Inoffensive in every way and the notes on paper make for a nice sounding juice but for me doesn't get the most out of any of its component parts...it's just bland, very beige and frankly lame!
Not bad just nothing to make it stand out..not for me.

Bigsly

I have an old bottle of this one along with a newer one, but I obtained the newer one first. That was well over a year ago and I didn't like it (a bit too "chemical" for me). I finally decided to give the older bottle a chance and this one does seem more natural. I would do a side by side comparison except that I'm just not a fan of this sort of idea, but perhaps one day I'll get around to doing it, and I'll then update this post.

At first, it has a kind of nondescript fruitiness to it, but the wood is also present and strong early on, so it's almost like a single accord. There is no detectable fougere accord here so I have no idea why some people are calling this a fougere. Anyway, over time the fruitiness subsides a bit and it becomes a touch powdery. The wood stays strong but has a kind of soft edge to it, thankfully. It never becomes sweet and I get only a tiny hint of vanilla, so this isn't "romantic" (it's also somewhat dry). It doesn't easily fit into any category, other than perhaps "casual," that is if you like obvious wood notes. As you might expect, there is limited dynamism, but it's not a "blob" and is pleasant if not exciting in any way. The major problem for me is that if I want woody/vanillic, I'd reach for a couple others before this one, and if I want strong wood notes, I'd reach for vintage Red for Men and some others instead.

alex.david.renteria

Have had two bottles of this so far, and finally got tired of it. It's nice, classy, goes great with a nice burberry raincoat and scarf, but not in a creepy flasher type of way. It makes me think of London, and cold gray days, being close to that special someone. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars just because I used it so much in the past that I got tired of it.

ahmadmohee

very nice for a date, or closed contact! gentle and masculine.

gfelton505

Sweet fruity and floral opener, that quickly settles in to a woodsy, mossy, and mild spice scent. Not super long lasting but the bottom notes reawaken with physical activity/a little sweat. Casual without going in the ultra citrus/minty direction of so many "sport" concoctions. Works for all seasons, day or night. A staple that I wear often, when I'm not wearing "London" that is very much a cold season scent, or something hoarded from the 80s.

petrus

Noisette anglaise.

TOTAL 15.5/20

After several years later, I purchased my second bottle. When I sprayed it on my skin, the opening notes of mint and lavender comes through. It's a bit strong at first but it settles well after 15min.
The main notes of sandalwood, cedar, oakmoss comes off being a well balanced scent of woodsy aroma that lasts for several hours. The base notes of vanilla, musk and amber elevate this frag to a warm/spicy aromatic scent that could be worn during the day or night and not be offensive.

Longevity, on my skin I found that it last between 5-8hrs...very good.
Sillage, I found that it isn't heavy at all, just moderate at best.

Personal note,
I enjoy Burberry frag's, I have 3 other fragrance which I alternate wearing throughout the year.
If a lot of women like this frag it makes it a more desirable fragrance. It has a unique and attractive aroma when you wear it. I dare you to try it....see for yourself how many comments you get !!!!
I have received so many complement's at work and from my friends who want to know what I'm wearing.
This frag has surpassed my expectation and that's why I bought a second bottle...10/10. Excellent from early spring through to late fall. You can't ask for more charming frag which goes on well and I also agree with many other who say that this is a CLASSIC !!!!!!!!
Bravo Burberry...

cyber.raga

Just okay. Nothing special about it. Very ordinary.

word-doctor

Found it for $20. The opening is kind of a messy citrus that steps over the line into harsh/acerbic. Within 20 minutes it calms down, though, and is a pretty good mix of sandalwood and spice. Just for fun I put Guerlain's Heritage on one wrist and Burberry on the other, because (I think) there's a superficial resemblance in the drydown. No comparison, though; Heritage is a masterpiece and B is average in every sense of the word, albeit pleasant and masculine (there's that).

Scent: 5/10
Sillage: 4/10
Longevity: 4/10

Edit: After further review, this is better than I initially reviewed. Excellent drydown, slightly above average sillage and excellent longevity. Works well on clothes (actually develops a bit) or skin. A work appropriate masculine scent that works in high heat but is NOT flowery or weak.

Scent: 7/10
Sillage: 6/10
Longevity: 8/10
